What is the Meaning & Definition of Aversion

The term aversion is one that is used to refer to a negative sentiment that a person may have with respect to another person, an object, a situation, etc. Aversion, unlike other negative feelings, is based on certain irrationality or in certain lack of domain you have on that feeling. In fact, most negative feelings or sensations hide certain irrationality or working on the mind at the unconscious level, so it is not easy, as in the case of the aversion, decipher fully what are. The idea of aversion differs for example the idea of repudiation since the latter often relate to some choice conscious of the person on the object that generates discomfort (for example, when condemns people who mistreat animals). However, the aversion already gives us an idea of an internal feeling that the person does not know nor can explain well and who cannot control, which arises whenever you think about the object of disgust in question. The aversion is a type of feeling very difficult to explain in rational terms, and this is what makes it so difficult to solve in those cases in which real complications for the person. All individuals present in greater or lesser extent some degree of dislike aimed towards something or someone: food, any insect, some kind of personality, some act or circumstance, etc. This does not necessarily mean that the person can live normally with this aversion.
However, there are cases in which this aversion is inexplicable and the person cannot effectively control their ill-feeling or I disgust by which is confronted to suffer or to avoid situations in which that object of aversion appears. In many cases, the aversion can become an obsession or mania and seriously hinder a person's life.
