What is the Meaning & Definition of Axiology

He is designated with the term of Axiology to that branch of philosophy that deals and focuses on the study of the nature of values and value judgments. Although of course philosophy and whatever else this discipline studies date back many centuries, the name of this part of the study is relatively new, since it was used for the first time recently at the beginning of the last century. Axiology, then study both negative values as positive, analyzing their first principles, which are those that will help determine the worth or otherwise of something or someone, for then formulate the basics of the trial both in the case of being positive as negative.
On the other hand, axiology along with ethics will be the main basis and pillar which will have ethics.
Insofar as getting in what constitutes his object of study, for the axiology, value will be that quality that will allow to consider the ethical and aesthetic value of things, i.e. simply is that special quality that makes the things or persons are estimated to be in a positive or negative sense.
It can distinguish between different classes of stock. The objective values are those who prove themselves the purpose, such as goodness, truth and beauty. On the other hand, and in opposition to these, we have the subjective values that are those that represent a means to reach such or which end and that most of the times are followed by a personal desire.
In addition and on a step below, we can distinguish between fixed values, i.e. those who still remain and the dynamic ones, which are those that are not subject to stay, but that will be changing as we go changing.
Also, the values can be differentiated according to the importance it holds for us and then be conceptualized according to a hierarchy preset which will possess some higher than others.
