What is the Meaning & Definition of climate change

Climate change is what we call this modification of the climate that has taken place with respect to its record at regional and global levels. In general, it's natural order changes, but those it is currently associated with the human impact on the planet. It is a complex phenomenon that can only be observed and analyzed using computer simulations. There are numerous variables that affect the climate in normal conditions. Both water and carbon cycles such as different parameters outside the own planet (solar winds, position of the Moon) generated modifications on the atmospheric conditions that motivate the great complexity that characterizes the climate of the Earth. This explains in general the great difficulties to try to define as precision aspects related to climate change and the need to apply computer algorithms to search for a qualification and quantification proper of this phenomenon.
Although climate change is not synonymous with global warming, since it responds to various causes and resulting in multiple consequences, commonly we find it associated with this phenomenon of increase in average temperature in the atmosphere and in the oceans. But in addition to global warming, also climate change influence on precipitation, cloudiness, and many other parameters.
Different theories about this phenomenon realize own variations of the Sun (winds, "sunspots", weather typical of the central star of the solar system), orbital (gravitational influence of the Moon), impact of meteorites (as well as asteroids and, to a lesser extent, the growing "space debris"), derived continental, ocean currents, atmospheric composition and anthropogenic effects, Earth's magnetic field (or man-made) as factors influential in changing the climate. At the same time, certain group of theories proposes that, in this scenario, either the planet Earth could respond reinforcing effects, or moderating them, and restoring a natural balance. In either of these scenarios, most of the observed changes tend to be deleterious to the quality of people's lives.
Thus, in terms of human impact, considered that certain practices excessive as the indiscriminate use of natural resources, the burning of fuels that produce carbon dioxide (CO2) and others have reached a significant negative effect on increasing the temperature. The greater presence of CO2 in the atmosphere encouraged the so-called "greenhouse effect", whereby the heat radiation reaching the Earth is reflected to a lesser extent into space than expected for the presence of normal concentrations of this gas. As a result, the temperature increases, with direct consequences on different parameters, to predominance of the thawing of large masses of ice in the polar regions. However, this phenomenon seems more prominent in the Arctic, where ice is more and more reduced, but less obvious in the Antarctic. Many meteorologists stand out that the planet Venus is a mirror of this process; more than 90% of the atmosphere of this celestial body is made up of CO2 and the greenhouse effect produces higher temperatures in the solar system, even above the mercury, despite its greater proximity to the Sun.
Global entities and different organizations working for years on the awareness of this phenomenon, calling on the States of the world to take responsibility about its impact and calling on citizens to carry out sustainable practices. Celebrities like politician Al Gore (former Vice President and presidential candidate in the United States) or the actor Leonardo di Caprio also joined the campaign against climate change, spreading investigations in this regard through all types of media. It warns that modification of the climate, as well as disrupt the rest of the biosphere, is linked with enormous damages social and economic, given that climatic variations caused by these alterations resulting in flooding of coastal and populated areas, loss of crops and livestock resources, destruction of homes and roads, extensive droughts with risk of famine, spread of pests of various kinds , increase of communicable diseases and parasitosis, crisis related to the loss of jobs and of active labor, among others. Therefore, climate change is an important element that must be a priority of the international agendas of all Governments of the Earth.
