What is the Meaning & Definition of librarian

The term Librarian can designate that individual who works in a library, i.e., is responsible for the same. It is also common that you name as a librarian. The library is the place where stored books, bibliographic and audiovisual collections, magazines and newspapers from various periods, so that they can be consulted by those who so wish it.
Meanwhile, the librarian will be responsible, on the one hand, to deploy different techniques and procedures to organize material which is housed in the library and on the other hand to attend to people who come to the establishment to access sources of information, whatever its format.

The task of the librarian can be deployed in different types of libraries that exist: public belonging to a community; of an educational institution, for example at a college or University; in a special library, such is the case of those intended for blind or deaf; the library of a company; in the library of Parliament; or in a national library, where gathers and stores most of the bibliographic production of a nation.
A librarian training takes place in a tertiary institution, being the title of the Bachelor's degree in library science career.
