Football (Word), also known as soccer in the United States, is a sport where two teams composed of eleven players each (ten field players and a goalkeeper) confront each other. The objective is to return the ball to the opponent while respecting a set of rules. The main rule of football is that the ball can never be touched with the hands or arms of the players except the goalkeeper (to him to prevent the ball from entering the goal, otherwise the opponent team wins a point).
The football field is rectangular and is covered with lawn/turf. The goals are face to face on each side of the field, and each team must defend his and score goals in the other.
