What is the Meaning & Definition of new

The word 'new' is a qualifying adjective used to describe those elements, situations or phenomena that are novel, not used or that has not been given before. Thereby, the term new or new always implies a break with the above to present something different, unique and as consequence will cause surprise in viewers, for example, when we say that a line of cars is new and more evolved than the previous. There are many situations and contexts in which the adjective 'new' can be used properly. On the one hand, the most common use this adjective has is when applied to objects and concrete elements, for example a piece of new clothes, a new book, etc., i.e., to what has been recently created or manufactured.
In this sense, the object is usually described as containing no previous use and that it therefore is in the best possible conditions. Here is then included the notion of anything else and that does not have the same characteristics as since it means some kind of breakdown, for example: a new way of life that is structured with other behaviors and behaviors. But, however, may also be new to the person who possesses it regardless of if it has been used or not (for example, a book used but new to the person who bought it).
Then, it can also be used to describe a person who is new to join a group whose members are established. A good example for such a situation can be a new student coming to the course in which the students are known in advance. Laura is new this year and therefore is that it has largely captured the attention.
Popular expressions containing the word new
The "new" term is used for certain concepts and expressions in common use that are already socially established. Some clear examples of this are the expressions: "Happy new year", we use each beginning of year at the toast and portend another having an auspicious year. "the new world" (in reference to the American continent) towards the end of the 15th century, when Cristobal Colón discovered America marked the use of this term to differentiate the new world that was none other than the recently-discovered continent, with respect to the old world, as it is said in Europe; "the new testament" (the part of the Bible that includes the story of Jesus) is the set of books that were written after the birth of the son of God and that integrates Christian Bible together with the old testament, which are writings which preexistieron to Christ; 'be back' (meaning back or return).
The term is also used to describe regions, such as New Mexico, in the United States.
What's new, the best ally of consumption and the enemy of the used
At the behest of the consumption of certain goods such as electronics, cell phones, computers, tablets, televisions, the value of the new is of fundamental importance as a consequence that the consumer of such products tends to favor at the time of the purchase the latest tendency and novelty at the expense of the used. This need usually we people with this type of product generates large companies that sold them, in their advertising campaigns, emphasize precisely this sense of something new, original and ultimate, and of course, subtracting importance and value to those earlier that according to the rules of technology are already old when a newer model.
It is, however, important to note that other types of goods this does not happen and even more happens the opposite: it favors the most old above the new, such is the case of Antiquities. In trade in objects and antique furniture is law how much older is the object in question greater monetary value will be.
Worn and old, the other side of the new
What follows then that what is at odds with what's new is old or worn.
By old refers to that which already has many years old, i.e., that has been created or manufactured for a long time ago. Meanwhile and depending on the slope that holds everyone, for some old will hold an important value, on the other hand, for those who privilege the latest new won't have it for nothing and you'll dispose of it precisely because of its old status.
Meanwhile, the used is that which presents use, which has been used by others, and by case is that tends to wear and be lackluster. Not necessarily worn must be old, can be a newly created article but be worn by the use given to you.
Worth noting is that although for some people it used not is of interest and leaning to acquire new, there is moreover a large part of the market that leans on the purchase of used merchandise.
