What is the Meaning & Definition of phonetics

Within the science known as linguistics, we find a very important branch which is known as Phonics. Phonetics is dedicated to studying the sounds that the human voice, its training and its variants depending on the position of the different parts of the system of speech ranging from language to more internal organs in the throat. When one learns a non-native language, Phonetics is always a cornerstone of the learning process since it is part of the language that allows us to pronounce every sound, every word in the right way, aside from the typical intonation of the language that one has from birth and pronouncing words as do natives. Phonetics is interested particularly in analyzing how the human being produces different sounds that are then used in speech. In this sense, the phonetic creates different symbologies seeking to represent each of those sounds in order to make them easier to recognize and analyze. Thus, each word consists of a specific set of sounds that are usually represented by different symbols that represent the letters of the alphabet. To understand them, Phonetics also seeks to understand how each sound is produced by different parts of the mouth and of the system of vocal cords to mode then repeat them easily. Phonetics has several branches that have to do with different applications and ways of taking forward the use of the language. Thus, some of the existing branches within phonetics are experimental Phonetics, the articulatory and acoustic. All of them are trying to analyze the physical phenomenon of speech within different parameters that have to do with how the sound is produced, but also how the sound is sent abroad.
