What is the Meaning & Definition of absenteeism

Absenteeism is a term that allows us to describe the action of refraining from voluntary and deliberate way to work, to school, to attend to a task or activity, or to comply with an obligation taken in our language. It should be noted that this concept is often called also as truancy, being more commonly found with this last name. As just stated, absenteeism, can manifest itself in school or at work and this then generates two types of absenteeism, work and school.
School absenteeism occurs when there is an absence of the child or young person in school age to school and is not justified. It is worth to indicate that in most countries of the world, primary and secondary education is compulsory and as such has a mandatory regime of assistance that must be met satisfactorily. When this does not happen, the student will not being considered as a regular student and will end up losing the year or grade, damaging seriously his education. The family control of the student is essential in this matter, i.e., they are the parents or guardians of the same which should ensure conformity education of the child and encourage him to attend class constantly. Except that the student manifest the presence of any disease or some other justified, it must comply with class attendance.
And meanwhile the absenteeism from work will involve the absence or abandonment of the post of work and any other duty linked to the same during the hours of activity and are stipulated in the employment contract. Diseases, accidents, licenses and Unexcused absences are generally the most common causes of absenteeism from work.
On the other hand, the word absenteeism referred to the use and custom which boasts a rural living owner outside the community in which the lands that has are based. Meanwhile, called absent the person who thus does and such matter is that mentioned lands end up becoming idle, since there is no one working them.
