What is and making the OECD? OECD is an acronym with which is called simple and short way to the Organization for cooperation and economic development, one of the most important and recognized international agencies who understand and take part in economic and social issues affecting its members and others who cooperate with them. Also often called OECD as a consequence of the denomination in English (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development).
It was founded in 1961, its headquarters is located in France, and consists of 34 member countries, especially in Europe, but there are also representatives from Middle East, Africa, Oceania and the Americas.
On OECD work is carried out through committees and groups consisting of representatives of the States member and specialists in various areas.
Basically its reason for being is the thinking and implementing policies that ensure economic and social well-being of the people in the world.
To achieve the goal effectively and successfully proposed it is that she is responsible for analyzing and evaluating the various situations in which are involved, always promoting the open participation and giving priority to international critical junctures.
