What is the Meaning & Definition of pore
The term pore is one that is used to designate all the small holes of air that can be found on a surface. These air holes can take concrete shape and transform a surface that otherwise would be lisa on a porous surface. The presence of pores in any surface means that it is a more delicate surface air can pass through you and therefore it is not made entirely of matter. The pores can be found on many different surfaces and elements. The pores are present on the skin of all mammals and animals as well as the surface of the vegetable. This is so since they living beings can complement breathing that course through the central respiratory system. Thereby, when the skin or outer surface is altered by some kind of infection, burn or damage may jeopardize health since the respiratory process is self-limiting. Pores give porosity to any item or surface condition and when we speak of porosity, we can find different levels or degrees of it. In this sense, many objects or materials have a high porosity, i.e., a significant number of pores on its surface, while others are more closed and let less air. In the field of construction, for example, to take into account these elements is essential since elements with higher porosity are more prone to damage or to the presence of moisture than materials that are not. At the same time, they are lighter and can be especially useful for some specific functions in which the hardness or stiffness is not needed.
