What is the Meaning & Definition of recurrent

Recurrent is what happens on a regular basis. In other words, it returns to occur with some regularity. The idea of recurring implies that something is repeated again, i.e. in a time interval is given a repeat. We see this description through two examples: "the front has a recurrent injury", "have a recurrent dream in connection with my childhood". In both cases, it is expressed that a phenomenon appears and disappears.
In the context of the health problems it speaks of pathologies or recurring illnesses, in the sense that their symptoms are not permanent but that occur intermittently.

Recurrent phenomena

Certain aspects of reality have a cyclic dimension. This implies that there are phenomena that does not always occur, but that it is foreseeable that manifested in the future. The idea of "recurrent phenomena" is based on the experience. If there is an element that periodically appears with some regularity in a process of change, it is logical that late or early displayed that element.

Capitalist system

Economic cycles are happening in the capitalist system and recurrent way presents an economic crisis, which is exceeded and after a period of time reappears again.

Seasons of the year

Nature works with guidelines more or less regular (the stations are a clear example of this regularity). In the case of natural disasters, are not talking about some isolated but that they are recurrent. Faced with this reality, the scientists try to predict them in advance to minimize its impact. In some areas of the planet, hurricanes, earthquakes or forest fires are recurrent.

The sad recurrence of war

From the earliest times, there have been periods of war that have afflicted humanity. The war as a recurrent phenomenon is an indisputable fact. It is virtually impossible to refer to a prolonged stage in which there is a military conflict.
One of the phenomena that has a cyclical sense is the fashion. The different styles of dress or hairstyle appear and disappear. From a historical point of view you can see the future of fashion as something recurrent. Consider, for example, in the different haircuts and you can see that they are no longer fashionable for awhile and unexpectedly back it.
From a cultural perspective, it is also possible to speak of some recurrent issues, those that never disappear entirely (freedom, justice or beauty).
