What is the Meaning & Definition of West
We use the word West in our language to mean different things, meanwhile, one of its most popular uses allows us to indicate the West of a zone of our planet and realize by case of the cardinal point by which the Sun. It also speaks of the West to designate the place of our land, that in relation to other falls towards the place where the sun sets.
On the other hand called generally West to the number of countries that are located in the western part of Europe.
Or failing that also this term is used to refer to the series countries belonging to different continents, but which are related, linked, because their languages and their cultures have a shared origin. These Nations have a democratic organization political, practice and spread the Roman Catholic religion, and in the economic issue to promote the market economy.
However, it is worth mentioning that there are Nations which do not comply with any of the above conditions but anyway its geographical disposition are considered Westerners also in the West.
Of course, mentioned is a rather general characterization but that is true in the majority of cases. Without a doubt this is employment more we give to this word and case is that when used in this sense is inevitably a division of the planet just West and East.
Because the concept that is at odds is the East, precisely because it refers to that point in our horizon in which out of the Sun and to any part of our planet, than compared to another is closer to the place where the sun rises.
