What is the Meaning & Definition of fair play
Fair play is a concept widely used in the sporting world for the kind of loyal and sincere behaviour in sport, especially of fraternity and respect for the opponent, the referee and attendees of this. Also known as Fair Play, as consequence of the very important campaign which in this regard carried out by FIFA, fair play has become the main concern of the sports organization and many more as a result of progress, and the reiteration of reprehensible sports behaviors, not just part of the players, but also on the part of the public arbitrators, advertising sponsors, leaders and trainers, among other social actors. The promotion of fair play's main mission is to retrieve from oblivion some pleasure and the feeling produced by the play. Unfortunately, in recent years in the world in which we live in has been crescendo the question that the most important thing is to always win, whatever it takes and not the most important thing should be the to compete and interact through the game and the sport with other individuals and make it pleasant experiences. The systematic disqualification against which no wins has taken over some way of sport and of course, such a situation has resulted in the practice of behavior such as the trap, verbal, and physical aggression among others, certainly against what it proposes real sportsmanship. The famous phrase coined by French and British athletes decades ago: important thing is not winning but compete, should be the maximum governing the sport and the game, irrespective of the conditions in which they occur and also the condition that primarily teach children and adolescents that many times in these stages of life are more concerned about winning that because of competing. Players can contribute to fair play avoiding simulations, showing that they enjoy the fact of playing, not discussing the decisions of the referee and keeping above all things a great deal with his opponents. On the side of coaches its contribution should pass by avoiding denigratorios acts against his players and promoting the respect of his players for rivals. And the rest of the actors who are also involved directly or indirectly in the sport, such as referees, media, parents and relatives can contribute to avoiding messages that encourage the rivalry or any other conduct inconsistent with fair play.
