What is the Meaning & Definition of free trade

The concept of free trade, also designated in our language as free trade and freedom of Commerce, presents exclusive use within the economic sphere, because in this way is designated that commercial activity, whether internal or external, that an individual or a company can be freely, i.e. without the presence of obstacles or special cannons that limit it. At the behest of internal trade, which is the one that takes place between individuals and businesses residing in the same country, will discuss a scenario free trade when there is any kind of impediment so that different economic actors to enter the market and exercise it satisfactorily since there is freedom in terms of prices, with respect to schedules to the public and opening of business premises and as to the recruitment of staff, among other important issues in this respect. It should be noted, that there are various economic actions, which if drawn up, can complicate and restrict the freedom of trade, among them are: the constant intervention of the State in economic matters and that it can actually stifle an industry or trade with their restrictions, to so the same, constant restrictions, need to shut their operation in the market. And on the other hand, what is known as protectionism, which is an economic policy which many States cast hand to protect those products that are produced in the country. It is to impose on those products that come from foreign taxes, which of course will move to the price of the product and more expensive it against the local proposal, generating this is not beneficial. Of course those who postulate the freedom of trade is opposed to protectionism and any type of lock at the commercial level. As a counterpart of protectionism, those Nations that propose to strictly freedom of trade at the external level, eliminate any type of tax or fee as listed and then all products, local and foreign, competing at the same level. Many countries, especially those that are located within the same economic area, such is the case of Mercosur, establish agreements that are embodied in treaties which provides for the abolition of the tariff.
