What is the Meaning & Definition of marker

The term marker is one that is used to refer to those writing instruments can be found with various colored inks and usually have a thicker than of a pen stroke. Markers, also known as fiber, fibron, marker or marker depending on the country of Latin America in which we find ourselves, can be described as pencils that have their own ink which is embedded in species of sponges and felts. Unlike the old types of feather pens, markers are instruments of writing which possess their own dose of ink, which comes embedded in small sponges and felts which are placed on the inside of the marker. Through the soft and porous, usually rounded and thick tip, markers can then generate a notorious and more important than a pen, trace that can be found in a myriad of colors.
The markers can be found in a wide variety of options, some special to highlight (in which case count with fluorescent inks, usually with flat tips to cover all the line highlight), others to write on blackboards, other permanent and other acuarelados. Normally, markers that are permanent are for use on surfaces where ink tends to fade and so resist and last longer than others which can be removed with water or alcohol. Markers that are not permanent are ideal for areas where it is necessary to write and erase on a constant basis, as for example in slates and school boards.
In addition, we can also find special markers for artists and students of different branches of art such as drawing or graphic design. These markers tend to be more expensive and have greater durability, better quality of ink, more vivid colors and are found in different sizes.
