What is the Meaning & Definition of molecule

A molecule is the smallest particle that has all the physical and chemical properties of a substance. The molecules are assemblies of atoms. In the case of one type of atoms formed molecules, they are said to be homonuclear (for example, the molecule of oxygen or oxygen has two oxygen atoms) while those that consist of several types of atoms are said to heteronuclear (e.g., the molecule of water contains two atoms of hydrogen and one of oxygen). The molecules are in permanent agitation, where molecular vibrations (could be tension or bending). Their atoms remain United because they share or share electrons.
It is worth mentioning that the molecules can be neutral or an electric charge. In the latter case, they say ion-molecule or polyatomic ions.
Organic chemistry is a branch of chemistry that studies the molecules containing carbon and forming Covalent bonds carbon-carbon or carbon-hydrogen, so-called 'organic compounds '.
Inorganic chemistry, in turn, focuses on the scientific study of the formation, composition, structure and reactions of compounds and inorganic elements. On the other hand, there are Organometallic chemistry, which studies the chemical compounds containing a bond between a carbon atom and a metal atom.
On the other hand, biochemistry studies life at the molecular level. Thus, this scientific discipline focuses on molecules at the cell and tissue level and which give rise to chemical reactions such as photosynthesis and digestion, between others.
