What is the Meaning & Definition of retirement

We understand retirement to the Act by which a person ceases to actively work to live the final stage of his life relaxed and free. Retirement is understood today as a right of every worker since it implies the welfare of investing money for future action which the State is responsible. Until recently relatively, understood retirement as it is today did not exist and in fact people who had no resources or capacity for saving had to work until the last moment of their lives. The possibility of retreat and enjoy the last stage of life in quiet way was always a privilege of a few. However, thanks to the struggle of workers, nation States had at the end of the nineteenth century and the twentieth recognize retirement as an immutable and inalienable right of all workers. Currently, the most common way of establishing the jubilacionn is one whereby the worker is debited you regular and constant a low percentage of your salary that is saved to be then given periodically as retirement or pension when the person already does not perform any activity. There are many States dealing with this but still problems such as black work (i.e. work without being registered) and unemployment are wounds that can seriously harm the worker. In many cases, employers in the private sector are not properly responsible for this right and employees do not have secure retirement. The subject of retirement has become today a serious problem in regions with ageing population, as it is the case in Europe. This is so since much of the population in these countries is not young and the State must then bear a major economic burden for sectors that do not reactivate the economy and that can not play any productive activity. This is in part one of the reasons for the European economic crisis that can not remove this right but who lost amounts of capital in aged sectors.
