The international term is an adjective that is preferably used when you want to refer to the interaction that occurs between two Nations or a particular group which is comprised of members that belong to two or more countries. On the other hand, also, the term is widely used to express the idea out of a country, i.e. it corresponds to something that does not occur, happens or produces in a given country.
